Community Rooms
Fostering community is one goal of a living-learning community. To this end, there are numerous spaces available to LEAD students. All locations are available to residents of both residence halls.
Dawson Residence Hall
The Dawson lobby is the living room of Dawson Residence Hall. It is equipped with several tables and chairs that can be used to study or be in fellowship. There are games available at the front desk.There is also a television with HMDI to USB-C capability. Students are welcome to utilize this technology for appropriate viewing
The Dawson classroom hosts the Introduction to Leadership class. Additionally, this space can be utilized freely as a study space after class hours and is often used for movie nights and other fun programs.
The Reflection Room is a cozy, quiet space. This can be used at any time for studying, meeting, Bible study, and personal reflection time.
The Learning Resource Express is a study area which contains a 3-D printer, a color printer, a laminator, and a small stock of essential school supplies. There is also a desktop computer for free public use.
The seminar room is available as a study location and is often used for programs or small group meetings.
Allen Residence Hall
The Allen lobby acts as a living room for the Allen Residence Hall. It also boasts a ping pong table and ample space for programs.
The Allen game room contains a pool table, which is free for use. Pool supplies and games may be checked out at the front desk. There is also a television with HMDI to USB-C capability. Students are welcome to utilize this technology for appropriate viewing.
