About LEAD LLC
The LEAD LLC offers a living-learning experience for Baylor students of all majors, quickly becoming a "home away from home" for our residents. Being part of a living-learning community means being a part of a residence hall that cares, has a desire to see you grow, and places importance on both your curricular and co-curricular experiences in college.
As a partner program with the Baylor School of Education, LEAD LLC cares about the holistic development of our students. We intentionally design programs and spaces to supplement the Baylor student experience. As an interdisciplinary endeavor, we welcome students studying everything from history and biology to statistics and music. Additionally, we prepare students in all fields for leadership within their careers by encouraging partnership with leadership training programs such as the Leadership Minor and Education Minor in the School of Education.
We know there are many great options for on-campus residency at Baylor and we are glad you stopped by to consider being a part of LEAD LLC. Based on recent national research, students living in an LLC were shown to exhibit higher rates of campus belonging, higher career attitudes, and higher scores in critical thinking disposition (ACREO, 2018).
As you continue researching the unique living arrangements on campus, we hope you will consider being a part of a living-learning community which emphasizes your growth, success, and impact on the world. We first invite you to take a few minutes to explore our website where you can read more about the structure of our program, our unique amenities, our faculty-in-residence, and much more.
*Please note, for the 2024-2025 school year, LEAD LLC is temporarily housed in Texana Hall and University House as Allen Hall and Dawson Hall undergo renovations. Our community is returning to Allen & Dawson Residence Halls beginning August 2025.*
