Leadership Minor

The Introduction to Leadership class (LDS 1301) that all of our first-year students take during the fall semester is the first course in an optional Minor in Leadership Studies through the School of Education's Department of Educational Leadership.

Coursework in the leadership minor encourages students to think critically and apply analytical skills to develop their own understanding of leadership that will lead to a life of service in their chosen field. Because students 

Because all of our residents complete the first required class in the minor sequence of courses, we encourage every LEAD LLC student to pursue the minor. The minor program offers an engaging learning experience for students, an opportunity to become well equipped as a leader, and a distinctive resume builder that will set you apart on internship and job applications.
